About Me

In my work I explore ideas of conflicting identity, internalized and societal feminine shame, traumatic relationships, nostalgia and exploring my inner child as a form of healing. My art sheds light on dynamics that are often not considered appropriate to talk about. I create both two dimensionally and three dimensionally. My work is highly personal and intimate, and I am very interested in how my viewers respond to it. People often find my vulnerability either validating or uncomfortable, and I welcome all responses. Talking with people and learning why they have the reaction they do is a big resource and inspiration for informing my future work. Being able to share that kind of bond or conversation with my viewers is my favorite part of creating art.
